Vibrant India Summer Camp for children aged 5 to 8 years was held at Houston Namadwaar from June 9th to 11th 2017. Children started their days with prayer and gratitude sessions.They were introduced to the sweet path of Namasankirtan and Bhagavatha Dharma. They learnt and sang rhymes in different languages, wrote scripts and enacted incidents from the life of prominent Indian figures. They also enjoyed making beautiful mango leaf thoranams, learnt yoga, played kho kho and made indian dishes during the culinary session. On the last day of the camp they showcased their camp experience to their family and friends and took home a booklet on Srimad Bhagavatham by Sri Swamiji. Gopakuteeram has planned two more exciting camps this summer in Houston: Five Elements Camp for chikdren aged 9 to 13 yrs and Samskritam Camp.
