Radhe Radhe! Humble Pranams!
With the blessings of HH Maharanyam Sri Muralidhara Swamiji, satsangs have been happening in houses in the Dallas area since 2007. Hundreds of families have immensely benefited from the peace and happiness it exudes. The visits of Shri Ramanujamji and Shri Poornimaji has greatly strengthened our satsang.
- Weekly house Satsangs happening have grown exponentially over the decade and has exceeded the capacity to be conducted in homes.
- Akhanda Nama Sankirtan (12 hours) is performed almost every week. Nama Kirtan happens everyday.
- Every year, Madhura Utsav during thanksgiving and in Spring is a grand affair. Today, these are held at rented spaces and are often subject to various restrictions.
- Gopa Kuteeram programs for children’s life-enrichment happens in homes in different cities and has been a great transformation for young minds. The enrollments to these programs have increased, making it difficult to conduct in homes.
- Social outreach programs – health fairs, blood donation drives and charity programs are a major component of our agenda. These programs need a home too.
Thus, more than ever, today, we need a ‘Namadwaar’ in the Dallas Metroplex.
What is a Namadwaar?
Namadwaar is a prayer house powered by the “Hare Rama..” Mahamantra. In the divine sanctity of the deities of Shri Radha-Krishna, Mahamantra will be chanted continuously all days in the week, making it a divine powerhouse where all genuine prayers will be fulfilled. Anyone is welcome to the Namadwaar to worship the Divine Couple and chant the Divine Name. Regular Utsavs for the Lordships shall take place in the Namadwaar.
Gopa Kuteeram programs and social programs and events that benefit the community will also find home in the Namadwaar.
What does it take?
As the saying goes, ‘it takes the whole orchestra to bring about a symphony’. It is indeed a concerted effort by everyone to establish our Dallas Namadwaar. Financial support, material support, manpower, and spiritual support (to sign up to come and chant Nama!) – all of this is needed.
The time is ripe and by divine grace we are working towards closing a property that will help us organize regular prayers, utsav and community activities. Our original target for the project is $550,000 and we are near the 50% mark. Your generous donation at this time will go towards purchase of property and reduce loan commitments.
