Here’s what the Madhurageetham Fiesta is all about!
It is a free, fun family quiz event based on Madhurageethams, compositions of HH Maharanyam Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji. It is an online event. Welcoming participants from anywhere in the world to join. Please read the event guidelines below.
WHEN/WHO:
Event Date: JUNE 26th, Saturday
Time: 10 AM US CT / 3 PM GMT / 7 PM GST / 8:30 PM IST (This is a single, common event across all time zones. Please calculate your local time based on these reference times.)
Age: All ages of participants (Adults, Youth, Kids) are welcome from anywhere in the world
HOW:
Registration Deadline: JUNE 6th, Sunday

WHAT:
Team Format:
- 1 to 3 people per team
- Team members must be in the same physical location during the quiz and be able to login from one device.
- Participants can be family members and/or friends, and any combination of ages.
- Each team needs to login from a single device (preferably a laptop or desktop).
- All participating teams need to keep their videos ON throughout the event (without a virtual background).
- All team members need to be clearly visible on the screen.
Online Platform:
- Quiz will be conducted via Zoom.
- Participants need to have a stable Internet connection and a device (preferably laptop/desktop) that can login to Zoom. A second device (phone or tablet) may be needed to play the preliminary round.
- The event will be broadcast on YouTube Live. Non-participant viewers are welcome to enjoy the event via YouTube.
- There will also be audience questions & trivia that viewers can answer via YouTube Live chat.
Quiz Format:
- Preliminary round: Madhurageetham trivia via an online quiz tool
- Semi-finals: Madhurageetham Antakshari (Pallavi to be sung fully)
- Finals Round 1: Madhurageetham identification based on keyword
- Finals Round 2: Madhurageetham identification based on scenarios/clues (For final rounds only identification matters; rendition not necessary.)
Please note: All Madhurageethams need to be rendered or identified according to their original ragas only! Creativity not encouraged in this department :).

- Remember, this is a fun, learning event, not a competitive one!
- Organizers’ and Quiz Master’s decision will be final – for answers, scores, and pretty much everything! 😛
