Pravachana karta: Sri. Ramanujam Mukundagiri

Dr. Suresh Shenoy of the Connecticut Valley Hindu Temple Society helped in organizing a talk by Ramuji on Balanced living and Spirituality in every day life for young parents. In this amazing speech, Ramuji enlightened the listeners on what spirituality is, what balanced living is, how to put all this to practice. He threw light on the spirituality that is grossly misunderstood by many people today. He taught the listeners about what mind was and how one could achieve control of their mind. He explained that the nature of mind is to run behind worldly things and that it takes a lot of effort to get the mind to concentrate. If this was done through compulsion or forcefully or what Ramuji calls as violence, then one would not enjoy the process of controlling the mind. He preached that one not only enjoy the destination (focused mind) but also enjoy the journey to achieving it. The listeners grasped the message which made the session an interactive one with a lot of questions from them. Ramuji addressed all the questions and clarified them.
