Abundance of Guru Krupa was felt in the Guru Poornima Celebrations at Fremont Temple, California (Vedic Dharma Samaj, 3676 Delaware Drive, Fremont, CA 94538). A special function was organized by Bay Area Namadwaar on this occasion on Saturday July 19, 2008 5-7pm in the holy premises of Lord Balaji-Padmavathi, Lord Shiva, Lord Rama-Lakshmana-Sita-Hanuman and Lord Jagannath. This is the same temple where Srimad Bhagavat Sapthaham was conducted in Oct 2007 by Shri. Ramuji and Kumari Poornimaji. Mahamantra chanting is regularly conducted in this temple every Saturday from 5.30-6.30pm.
The function commenced with Hare Rama Mahamantra chanting for one hour. This was followed by Guru Kirtans and bhajans. All participants enthusiastically participated by chanting and singing along. Entire sannidhi reverberated with thoughts about the compassion of our great Gurus, Nama and The Lord. Satsangh members sang many Guru Kirtans of Swamiji:

Smt. Vijaya Mami then sang bhajans on Lord Rama and Lord Krishna with great bhavam. This was followed by a beautiful Meera Bhajan. Smt. Kalpagam Kaushik gave a fitting end to the bhajan session with a Purandaradasa Krithi “kaNDEnaa gOvindhanaa” and a namavali on Shri Hanuman.
Pandit Govindji performed pooja and Naivedhyam to the Lord and Guruprasad was distributed to all.
Earlier in the day, satsangh devotees from San Francisco Bay Area also participated in the conference call listening to a short discourse on Guru Mahima by Kumari Poornimaji. Some of the satsangh members shared their experiences with Swamiji and how Nama is taking care of their life.
