About 15 – 20 devotees were gathered to perform Melmaruvathur Adi Parasakthi Pooja. Sri Zivan Prakash made use of a 15 min slot to establish the fact that Nama works for all. He said that mother is a personification of love. When a child wanted anything to be done, it first always goes to its mother. Similarly, Devi Mata is full of love.
He said that Kanyakumari Devi performed Nama japa for her son Senthilnathan to perform Sooravadham. This went to prove that in the age of kali, Namakirtan is the most suited path for one and all including Kanyakumari Deviji.
He re-iterated that Mahamantra is the most powerful Nama in Kali and added that this was established in the conversation between Lord Brahma and Sage Narada in Kali Santarana Upanishad. Zivanji then requested all the devotees to chant the Mahamantra daily,11 times in the morning and 11 times in the evening and the devotees agreed to do so. After chanting of Mahamantra for about 10 times, the regular pooja began.
