Satsang at Bridgewater, NJ

Date: September 28 2007
Time: 7:00pm – 8:00pm
Topic: Greatness of Naama
Venue: Residence of Mrs. Shyamala Seshadri and Mr. Seshadri
Pravachana karta: Kum. Poornima Kumarasami.

The Seshadris were blessed to host the satsang on the greatness of Nama by Kum. Poornimaji. About 20 receptive audiences were equally blessed to take part in the satsang.

Kum. Poornima jis quoted from the Bakthi granthas and Upanishads to drive home the fact that Nama is the only path to liberation in this age of Kali. She explained how great Mahans like Badrachala Ramadas, Thyagaraja etc spent their life singing the glory of the Lord. She added Sri Yogi Ramsuratkumars words that in Kali yuga, remembering the lord is a merit and forgetting to do Namakirtan is a sin. Any day spent without doing Namakirtan is futile. This thought brought tears in everyone’s eyes and they resolved to chant Nama every day.

At the end of the satsang, kumkum Prasad and Sri Sri Swamijis stickers were distributed to the devotees and they dispersed with Nama lingering in their hearts.
