Sri Muralidhara Swamiji

This series chronicles interesting experiences recounted by the devotees of HH Maharanyam Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji as well as certain divine experiences of Sri Swamiji himself. These articles are translations from the series “Madhuramaana Mahaneeyar” that is published every month in Madhuramurali Tamil monthly magazine in India.

During the Navaratri festival in 2015, a divine spiritual bhava of Sri Radha Rani rose up in Sri Swamiji’s heart. The beautiful experience is described in vivid detail.

Madhura Geetam – Prayer Series: 5

O Krishna, Even if my Love for you is only Pretense, Please make it True

PrayerIn this series, we present, each month, a prayer kirtan composed by His Holiness Maharanyam Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji. These kirtans underline the importance of prayers and beautifully show us how we should pray.

In a beautiful song, Sri Swamiji shows us how to pray for true love for the Lord. He cries to Him to transform his false and superficial love into real and pure love, as he lacks the capacity to do so himself. The song (in Tamil) is set in Ahiri raga – a raga typically used for pleading and lamenting. The lyrics and translation are also given here.
