Guru Poornima was celebrated in a grand manner in Boston on Thursday, July 14th in the presence of Sri Swamiji’s Divine Padukas. The satang performed Akhanda Nama Sankirtan at the residence of Smt. Krithika Prakash and Sri Prakash between 3 pm and 6:45 pm. This was followed by Pancha Geetam Parayanam from Srimad Bhagavatam. Then, Mrs. Mangalam Ramaswamy, an exponent of Srimad Bhagavatam, discoursed on the glory of Guru and the grace of the Guru through Dhruva Charitram from Srimad Bhagavatam from 7 pm – 8:30 pm.
After dinner prasad, a bhajan of Sri Swamiji’s kirtans was performed from 9:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Satsang members from Chicago had also joined the Boston Satsang team for this special event.
On Sunday, July 17th, an Akhanda Mahamantra Sankirtan was performed at the same place between 9 am and 6pm.
