Madhura Utsav 2024 in Namadwaar, Virginia

Madhura Utsav with Sri Ramuji – April 24 – April 28 By the immense grace of His Holiness Maharanyam Sri Sri Muralidhara SwamiJi and the abundant grace of Sri Madhuri Sakhi Sameta Sri Premika Varada TakurJi, Namadwaar Virginia celebrated a five-day grand Utsav with Sri Ramuji.

Day 1: The Utsav commenced on Wednesday, 24th April. It was Swathi and there was Srimad Bhagavata Nakshatra Parayanam Poorthi. Sri Ramuji performed Guru, Bhagavatam, Krishna, and Lakshmi Ashtotra archanas, followed by the devotees reciting the last two chapters of the twelfth canto of Srimad Bhagavatam. Chapter 12 from Bhagavad Gita and Vishnusahasranama were recited. Sri Ramuji spoke at length about the greatness of Samarpanam and Kainkaryam. The satsang concluded with Kaliyayum Bali Kollum Kirtan and Maha harathi. Dinner prasad was served

Day 2 of the Utsav was on Thursday, 25th April, at the residence of Smt. Vidya and Sri Balaji. The satsang commenced with the Mahamantra chanting. Sri Ramuji gave a discourse on Bhagavata Dharma. He spoke about various paths that could be followed for spiritual aspirants. He also emphasized on following one path for upliftment. About 60 devotees, with rapt attention, immersed themselves in the session and felt very blessed. The satsang concluded with arti and dinner prasad.”

On Day 3, 26th April, Friday afternoon, we had the Nikunj (a newly constructed hall) Pravesham at 2pm. Sri. Ramuji entered the new hall with the Deities and Guru Padhukas, along with the other devotees. There was Akhanda Mahamantra Kirtan until 6pm. In the evening, Sri Ramuji led the satsang. Many Yugala Kirtans were rendered. Sri Ramuji also spoke about the greatness of Dasyam. Rasa Panchathyaayi from Srimad Bhagavatam was recited. Then the ladies had a divya nama sankirtan bhajan. All the devotees then recited the Gopika geetam. It was a blissful evening and a grand inauguration of the hall for the divine couple. The satsang concluded with Kaliyayum bali kollum kirtan and Maha Arti. Dinner prasad was served.

On day 4 , Saturday , 27th April morning, there was Radha Madhav Vivah, at Nava Vrindavan NIkunj, led by Sri Ramuji. The satsang started with Maha mantra Kirtan. The lord ships, adorned with jewels and garlands, were seated on their swing. The satsang started with Maha mantra Kirtan. After Guru vandanam, dhyana slokas, the devotees rendered thodayamangalam. Radha,Krishna Kirtans were rendered. The Radha kalyanam padhathi, kalyana ashtapathi, choornikai,mangalashtakam and mangalyadaranam was recited. Flowers were offered to the divine couple while the devotees chanted Radha krishna namavali. Sampradaya kirtans for Radha kalyanam was also rendered. Anjaneyar kirtans and prayers keerthans were rendered.The satsang concluded with Kaliyayum bali kollum kirtan and Maha Arti. Lunch maha prasad was served. Around 100+ devotees attended this satsang and were blessed. As a part of day 4 events, Sri Ramuji, along with many satsang families went on a Parikrama around Nava Vrindavan. It was a unique and blissful experience for all the devotees.

The concluding event of the 5 day utsav on 28th April, was the Gopa kuteeram recital and Maha mantra Mass Prayer at the Rockville center Hall.

The session started with the senior batch students presenting various stories from Srimad Bhagavatam they learnt throughout the year. Following this, Over 60 Gopa kuteeram children from 8 batches, recited various Ashtakams, Bhagavad Gita and Bhagavatam slokas. The children were eager and enthusiastic to recite in the presence of Sri Ramuji. After the recital, Sri Ramuji shared his happiness to have so many enthusiastic children. He very much appreciated all Gopa kuteeram families and explained how this Gopa kuteeram can help the children with their mental and emotional well-being. After the recital, Sri Ramuji conducted the Mahamantra Mass Prayer. In that, he extolled the benefits of nama chanting and how the slokas these children learn will be an indivisible protection for them in their life. He continued with an interactive session with the children emphasizing on gratitude. It was blissful conclusion with the entire hall reverberate
