By the immense grace of Sri Swamiji and Sri Sita Lakshmana Hanumath Sametha Ramachandra Mahaprabhu, on the occasion of Navarathri/Dasara, Virginia Namadwaar was blessed to do Sundara Kandam Parayanam starting Saturday, Sep 28th
As part of the Navarathiri celebration, a beautiful Golu was set up in Namadwaar for our Lordships and the parayanam started with Rama jananam and sita kalyanam. For the rest of the 9 days, the devotees eagerly participated in the Sundarakanda parayanam. In the evenings, children from GOD North America did Srimath Ramayana Navaha Katha, Charitra’s of various Rama Bhaktha’s and Swamiji’s Madurageetham on these topics for 9 days.
On Sunday, Vijayadasami day, devotees with the blessings of TakurJi and SwamiJi, concluded the Sundara Kanda Parayanam with Sri Rama Pattabishekam. Madhurageethams on Lord Sri Rama and Sita devi were rendered.
This was followed by Anjaneya utsav. Anjaneya kirtans were rendered. Finally, the devotees recited Hanuman chalisa. The satsang concluded with Mahamantra keertan and Arthi.
