Philadelphia, PA:
By the immense grace of Sri Guruji, on Oct 10th, 2024, PA GOD satsang had an opportunity to perform Sangeetopachara seva at the Pittsuburgh, Sri Venkateswara Temple as part of the temple’s 9-day annual Bramhotsavam during Navarathri. Started the seva, after an initial introduction of GOD North America satsang, by offering Mahamantra kirtan and followed by a few Madhura Geetams on Srinivasa Perumal and Thaayaar. Concluded the seva with Kaliyayum Bali Kollum kirtan and Mangalam. This was well attended by over 30+ devotees in-person and was broadcast online through the temple’s YouTube channel.

This was the first time we have received a request of this kind from Pittsburgh temple through our Toronto GOD Satsang. Our prayers at the holy feet of Sri Guruji for more such kainkaryams.

Namadwaar, Houston:
By the blessings of Sri Swamiji, a grand 10-day Navaratri Utsav was celebrated at Sri Aishwarya Srinivasa Perumal Temple. We had a lovely 9-day Ramayana Katha by Sri Gadadharanji, disciple of Sri Swamiji, that was enjoyed by several devotees who attended this katha which was a wonderful opportunity to listen to the rasa in Ramayana during this auspicious time. For Navaratri, a beautiful, unique Kolu display themed on “Bharat – the soil that grows saints” was set up at the temple where a rangoli of Bharat was drawn and many kolu dolls of saints and holy kshetras were placed at the appropriate places in the map, showing truly how Bharat is holy land that has given birth to many saints. The kolu also had the traditional 7 steps and a Krishna Leela display.
There were also daily portrait Rangolis drawn with scenes depicting the greatness of Sita Devi which was shared as a daily quiz in the Temple group. Many devotees avidly followed the Rangoli-based questions and answers.
Every day we also had music, dance and harikatha offerings by many musicians, music students and dancers from around the Houston area who presented devotional compositions of various saints.

On the final 10th day of Vijayadasami, which was also Purattasi Shravanam, Sahasranama Laksharchana and Saraswati Puja for students was performed.
