By Sri Swamiji’s immense grace and blessings, Atlanta Namadwaar was fortunate to host Sri Ma Devaki Mathaji’s satsang on a Wednesday evening. Sri. Ma Devaki Mataji whom Sri.Yogi ji called His Eternal Slave, personally served Sri. Yogiji (Sri. Yogi Ram Surat Kumar) until His Mahasamaadhi in 2001. Mathaji is currently visiting USA and Atlanta Namadwaar was blessed with the unique opportunity to host her satsang. She arrived with Yogiji’s photo and was welcomed by our devotees with chanting of “Yogi Ramsuratkumar” and flowers to lead her to the stage. Mathaji spent around two and half hours with Atlanta devotees sharing various anecdotes of Sri Yogiji. She emphasized the importance of Nama chanting with examples that even the kids attending could understand. She gave opportunity for the devotees to ask questions and concluded the program with chanting of “Yogi Ramsuratkumar” and Mahamantra. All devotees had bhagyam to receive her blessings and prasadam. She also ate the dinner offered by Namadwaar devotees. This was once in a lifetime opportunity for Atlanta devotees.
Despite being a week day, there were close to 120 devotees. Devaki Mathaji was very pleased with the turnout and quoted this happens only in Atlanta, due to Sri Swamiji’s grace.
