By the grace of Sri Swamiji, NJ GOD Chapter held a Satsang in Rye, NY on Sunday, June 11th 2017.
Satsang started with chanting of the Mahamantra. The devotees were fortunate to listen to the divine Vamana avatharam story covering little Vamana Bagawan’s upanayam function as narrated in Srimad Bagawatham, significance of seeking spiritual alms (Unjavruthi dharma) and the mission of Sri SwamiJi’s Chaitanya Mahaprabhu Nama Biksha Kendra.
Everyone listened to Bali’s sublime quality of giving himself to Bagawan after being challenged by Bagawan for the third feet of land. Satsang ended with the rendition of Sri SwamiJi’s madhura gitams including engu nAn Thalai vananginAlum, thedi vandanaye kirtans and Sri Purandaradasar’s rAgi tandIrA kirtan. Close to 11 devotees attended the Satsang.
NJ GOD Chapter prays at the lotus of feet of Sri Swamiji and Sri Madhuri Sakhi Sameda Premika Varadhan to bless them with more and more satsangs.
