By Sri Guruji’s grace, GOD Atlanta Satsang celebrated Sri Krishna Janmastami from Sep 1st to Sep 9th at Atlanta Namadwaar.
Sep 1 st (SAT) – The Janmashtami celebrations started auspiciously with Sri Dasamam Shatakrutu where bhagavathas of Atlanta and few bhagavathas from out of town joined and did parayanam from 9 AM to 6 PM. Sri Sri Madhuri sakhi sametha Sri Premika Varadhan was in Vrindavanam alankaram with water falls, creepers, peacocks and deers around our Sri Takurji.
Sep 2nd (SUN)– The day started with Thirumanjanam to Sri Sri Madhuri sakhi sametha Sri Premikavaradhan followed by 8 hours Akanda Mahamantra chanting from 8 AM to 4 PM.
In the evening, we celebrated Nandotsavam, GovindaPattabhishekam, Uriadi and games for kids. Sri Janmashtami Prasadam was distributed to all bakthas.
Sep 3rd to 7th (MON to FRI) – Everyday 3 hours Mahamantra chanting and in the evening we had Vishnu Sahasranama Parayanam followed by Sri Jayadevar Astapathis where all 24 Astapahis were sung for the pleasure of Sri Takurji.
Sep 8th (SAT) – The day started with Thodayamangalam Sampradhaya bhajans led by Sri NamasevaMani Cheranmahadevi Sri Venkateshwara Bhagavathar.
In the evening, we celebrated Janavasam where our Takurji was in procession hearing divine Madhuragitams throughout. Then we had Gopika Geetham pravachanam followed by Divyanama sankeerthanam led by Bhagavathar.
Sep 9th (SUN) – The day started with Unchavruthi where Bhagavathar led the bhajans and all bakathas came with family and participated. Then Radha Kalyana Mahotsavam started and Sri Venkateshwara Bhagavathar beautifully led the kalyanam utsavam in pracheena sampradhaya bhajan format and explained the importance of Kalyana Utsavam. Over 120 bakthas participated in Kalyana Utsavam and got the blessings of our dear Sri Takurji and Sri Guruji.
