Srimad Bhagavata Saptaham in Jacksonville, FL

With the immense grace of Sri Swamiji, Jacksonville GOD Satsang had the immense blessing of hosting Srimad Bhagavata Sapthaham led by Sri Poornimaji starting on the Deepavali day on Oct 18, 2017. Starting with Bhagavata Mahathmiyam, Sri Poornimaji covered Narada Charithram, Daksha Yagnam, Dhruva Charithram, Jadabharatha and Ajamila Upakhyanam and concluding with Rukmini Kalyanam. The underlying message of Nama Sankeerthanam and Guru Mahima was beautifully elaborated with glimpses from life-histories of great Mahans such as Yogi Ramsuratkumar, Namadevji, Eknaathji, Ramana Maharishi, Pattinathar to name a few. Sri Poornimaji weaved Sri Swamiji’s purport of spreading Nama everyday through the katha shravanam. Around 40 bhakthas participated everyday. Jacksonville had the added blessing of celebrating Sri Swamiji’s Jeyanthi on Oct 21, 2017. The first annual Utsavam- Utsaaham event was held on that day to celebrate the special occasion with various cultural programs by Gopa Kuteeram children. Satasangis from Orlando and children from Tampa also participated in the event besides the Jacksonville talents.
