The time came to take leave of Udupi Sri Krishna and return to Tamil Nadu. The plan was to return via Bengaluru to Salem and then participate in the January 1 Mass Prayer at Coimbatore. Along with Sri Swamiji, we all reached Salem Namadwaar, which was located at the house of Sri Venkataraman. Night had fallen.
Early next morning itself about 30 devotees came to the Namadwaar. As it was the month of Margazhi, we all chanted Tiruppavai. Sri Swamiji spoke in his inimitable style in a beautiful, simple, and easily understandable manner about the great benefits of performing Mahamantra kirtan and about how Sri Krishna is immensely pleased by it. Then we are all aware of the wonderful Mahamantra Mass Prayer that Sri Swamiji conducted in Coimbatore on January 1, 2012, amid 5000 devotees, and which was viewed live online by about 1,00,000 devotees!
We all then returned to Chennai joyfully, filled with memories of the divine journey with Sri Swamiji.
