Janmashtami 2012 and Radha Kalyanam Special Satsang in Richmond, Virginia

Virginia GOD chapter celebrated Krishna Janmashtami and Radha Kalyanam on August 11th and 12th 2012 in a grand manner at the residence of Sri.Murali and Mrs.Malathi Murali. The satsang started on Saturday, August 11th evening with Mahamantra chanting and rendition of Guru Kirtans and Ashtapathis. During night time, satsang devotees performed Dhivyanamam by welcoming Kirshna to the center mandap and this was followed by ladies Dhivyanamam along with recital of Madhura Geetham Gummi songs, Gopika Geetham, and Abhangs. The first day celebrations ended with Dolothsavam. Bhajans and Dhivyanamam were very much enjoyed by all the devotees who attended the event.
On the second day, the function started at 7.30 am on Sunday, August 12th with Guru Kirtans and Mahamantra chanting followed by the recital of Ashtapathi, Choornikai, Pravaram, Lagnashtakam and Radha Kalayanam. The grand celebration ended with Anjaneya Utsavam. Many local devotees attended the event and everyone enjoyed the event. The satsang ended with prayers and NamaSankirtan
