By the grace of Sri Aishwarya Srinivasa Perumal and blessings of Sri Swamiji, a divine 3-day celebration was organized at the temple on the auspicious occasion of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu Jayanthi and 16th anniversary of Houston Namadwaar. The celebrations began on Friday evening with the nectarine katha of the birth of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu by Sri Aravindji followed by Pada Pooja of Sri Radha Devi. During the mornings of Saturday and Sunday, devotees took turns to do the Parayanam of Dasama Skandam from Srimad Bhagavatam.
On Saturday evening, Hanuman Pooja was performed with the chanting of Hanuman Chalisa and vada mala offering, followed by Maha Harathi. The evening also included a special Prasadam from the ashram that was distributed to the sevaks of the temple. The festivities concluded with the families celebrating Holi with colors and dinner prasadam. The celebrations concluded on Sunday evening with Mahamantra kirtan and Dolotsavam. About 150 people attended the event over the 3 days.
