By the immense grace of Guru Maharaj and Madhuri Sakhi sametha Premika Varadan Thakurji, 2023 Sri Jagannath Rath Yatra went very well in Orlando. The event was scheduled on September 16th, 2023 and was conducted at the Hindu Society of Central Florida (HSCF) temple. GOD Satsang Orlando was blessed to organize the entire event in conjunction with Orlando Odia group.
The auspicious event started with pulling of Sri Jagannath Parivaar’s Rath by kids and adults to the vibrant chants of Mahamantra, Namavalis and Oriya bhajans. Devotees also participated in performing dandiya and folk dance in front of the Rath. After the Rath yatra, Sri Jagganath Parivaar was taken into the temple for additional performances by the kids. Gopakuteeram and GOD kids offered Madhurageetams, Nama and dance performances, while other kids offered classical dance performances such as Bharatanatyam and Odissi at the lotus feet of Lord Sri Jagannath! The performances culminated with the auspicious Mahamantra kirtan.
Later, Chappan Bhog was offered to the Lord followed by Arathi and Mahaprasad. Approximately 300 devotees participated in the auspicious event and by Sri G’s grace, kids were the vital and active participants of the event. Few pictures of the event are attached.
