By the immense grace of Sri Swamiji, Bay Area GOD Chapter celebrated Sri Rama Navami celebrations in a very grand manner on Saturday, March 28th 2015 at the residence of Sri.Sankar Ramanathan and Mrs.Srividya Nagarajan in San Jose.
The satsang commenced with Nama Sankirtan followed be parayanam of selected chapters from Srimad Valmiki Ramayana. Following this, Nama Ramayanam was recited along with many kirtans on Lord Rama composed by Sri Swamiji.
The satsang concluded with the rendition of Hanuman Chalisa. Close to 25 members attended the satsang.
On Saturday,April 4th 2015, special satsang was held at the residence of Sri.Swami Venkatraman and Mrs.Nithya Nagarajan to commemorate the auspicious occasion of Panguni Uthram and Hanumad Jayanthi. Namasankirtan was chanted for about one and half hours and then Sri.Sankar Rajaraman beautifully explained the significance of Panguni Uthram. Following this, kirtans on Lord Hanumanji were sung and the satsang concluded with the recital of Hanuman Chalisa. Close to 30 people attended the satsang.
