Know Faith, No Fate! – Part 1
Is there anything in this world that cannot be achieved with steadfast faith in our Guru and by treading wholeheartedly in the path of Namasankirtan that is shown by him.
Smt. Selvi ji is an ardent devotee of our Guru Maharaj and has deep faith in Nama. She lives in Sivakasi (Tamil Nadu, India). In January 2015 she was diagnosed with fibroids in her uterus, and she underwent treatment with medicines for 20 days. Even after the prescribed treatment was done there was no change in her condition and it was worsening. Doctors advised her that surgery was the only way to remove the fibroids. As Smt. Selvi ji’s daughter was pregnant and it was close to her delivery time, the surgery was postponed. And also Selviji yearned to have Guruji’s darshan before her surgery. In March 2015, Guruji visited Sivakasi and on March 9th Selviji had Guruji’s darshan. She did not disclose anything about her condition to Guruji; she thought to herself that Guruji knows and that He would definitely save her from this condition.
On the last day of satsang, Selviji had severe pain in her stomach and was not able to attend the satsang. She stayed home and was chanting Nama incessantly and meditating on Guruji. Her pain got so severe and still, she was chanting Mahamantra while rubbing her stomach. Selviji got relief from her stomach pain after one hour of chanting the Mahamantra. Later she went to the doctor and got a scan done to check her condition. To everyone’s surprise, the fibroids were nowhere to be seen! The doctors were astonished and said she didn’t have any fibroids but just some bruising. Steadfast faith at the feet of the Guru and incessant Namasankirtan can bestow anything!
