'Ambarisha Charitra' discourse in Nashua Temple

On Sunday Feb 26, Shri Poornimaji discoursed to an enthusiastic set of devotees, the glory of Srimad Bhagavatam and narrated ‘Ambarisha Charitra’ from the same.
The venue was the Hindu Temple of New Hampshire in Nashua, which serves the entire Indian community in the Nashua area of NH. The evening started with Mahamantra Kirtan followed by Shri Poornimaji’s introduction to the audience. In her discourse, she expounded the greatness of Srimad Bhagavatam – the one Scripture the Lord Himself wished to pen. And quoting from the lives and works of Mahatmas like Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa and Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, she underlined the relevance of Bhagavatam in the current day, the values that it inculcates. She expounded at length the story of the epitome of humility – Ambarisha.

The audience thoroughly relished the nectar of the discoursed and felt that the message was simple, clear and down-to-earth. Many of them were interested in listening to and learning Bhagavatam further – through the telecon lectures.
