Events Around Metro Atlanta in the month of August 2026

By the immense grace of Sri Swamiji and Sri Premikavaradhan Takurji, Nama continues to spread its sweetness beyond Atlanta Namadwaar through various events hosted by families across Metro Atlanta.

Devotee families frequently invite Atlanta Namadwaar Bhagavatas to be part of Nama Bhiksha, Nama Ruchi, Nikunjotsavam, Radha Kalyanam, and other special celebrations at their homes. These gatherings are often hosted as an offering of gratitude or to commemorate important occasions and milestones in the lives of families. With many children beginning a new academic year or celebrating significant achievements, this season has provided several such opportunities for families to express their gratitude through Nama.

During Nama Bhiksha and Nama Ruchi, along with chanting the Mahamantra, devotees also share their Nama Anubhavas and Nama Mahima with those gathered. These heartfelt experiences give new families an insight into the power and sweetness of Nama and how Nama has guided and supported devotees through different situations in their lives. Hearing these experiences builds confidence and inspires those who are new to Nama to begin chanting and experience its sweetness for themselves.

These gatherings thus become a beautiful opportunity for many new families to relish Nama while also learning about its greatness and sweetness.

Radhakalyanam was performed at multiple homes across Metro Atlanta this month, with lovingly and beautifully decorated homes and altars creating a divine atmosphere for the celebrations. Colorful garlands adorned the altar, while flowers for Pushpa varsham and beautifully arranged Kalyana Seer added to the festive grandeur. Vibrant Namavalis, Ashtapadis, Nama, and Bhajans filled the air, enveloping everyone gathered in their devotional energy. The celebrations came alive as Bhagavatas and guests joined in, dancing joyfully to various Sri Madhurageethams and immersing themselves in the bliss of Radhakalyanam.

Alongside programs conducted by various families across Metro Atlanta, Satsang Bhagavata families also lovingly host celebrations to mark special occasions and milestones. Two Nikunjotsavam celebrations hosted at devotees’ homes this month were beautiful examples of this.

What made these celebrations especially heartwarming was seeing children who have been part of Satsang since birth or from a very young age and, nurtured by Sri Swamiji’s immense grace, have blossomed into young Bhagavatas who deeply relish the sweetness of Nama and Sri Madhurageetham. Today, these very children are carrying that sweetness forward, touching hearts through their soulful renditions of Sri Swamiji’s divine creations.

At one Nikunjotsavam, brothers Chi. Prahlada Krishna and Chi. Balaram Krishna took center stage with their devotional offerings, while at the other, Kum. Akshara Ramji captivated those gathered with her soulful renditions. At both celebrations, they were beautifully supported by other youth and children of the Namadwaar family, who accompanied them on various instruments and vocals, adding richness to their devotional offerings. Beyond the music itself, it was especially heartwarming to witness the affection, camaraderie, and spirit of togetherness among these young Bhagavatas as they encouraged and supported one another in loving service to Sri Swamiji.
