Events around Metro Atlanta in the month of July 2026

Nama Ruchi and Nama Biksha programs continued across Metro Atlanta during the month of July, with Atlanta Namadwaar bhaktas participating in gatherings at devotees’ homes as well as offering Nama at Namadwaar. By Sri Swamiji’s grace, more than 8 hours of Nama were offered through these programs, with over 250 devotees participating in total. It was especially heartening to see a growing number of children enthusiastically taking part in these gatherings. Many families also chose to celebrate birthdays, wedding anniversaries, and other special milestones through Nama Ruchi, offering their gratitude at the lotus feet of Thakurji and seeking His blessings through the chanting of the Mahamantra.

By Sri Swamiji’s grace, Sri Hanuman Temple has been a cherished spiritual partner, with both organizations joyfully supporting each other’s seva initiatives. Continuing a beautiful annual tradition, Atlanta Namadwaar devotees were once again invited to participate in the Sri Jagannath Rath Yatra celebrations at Sri Hanuman Temple. Devotees chanted the Mahamantra and offered Namavalis, adding to the devotional fervor of the celebrations.

Despite many devotees traveling during the summer vacation season, devotees gathered at Namadwaar on Satudays to offer Nama. Alongside these satsangs, Nama is also offered daily at Namadwaar as an expression of gratitude to Thakurji—sometimes in ekaantha by an individual devotee, sometimes by families, and at other times by small groups of devotees coming together in prayer and devotion.
