By the infinite grace of God, Namakirtan was performed for 10 minutes in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple in front of Sri Meenakshiamman temple.
Mahamantra was also sung for 10 min each in the front of Lord Rama and Bhaktha Anjaneya. Sri Ramakrishnahari ji briefly explained the greatness of Nama. He added that Namakirtan is the only path to attain liberation in kali yuga for all classes of people. He said that all the other mantras have at least a few basic rules like one should clean their hands and feet, and face east before doing japa of the mantra. Mahamantra is called MAHA mantra because it does not even have the basic rules but gives the same fruit and even more than any other mantra.
