GOD chapter of Chicago conducted a puppet show at the Homestead Elementary School on Thursday May 30th 2013 . Few fourth grade kids helped with puppeteering and on the back drops. The kids did an awesome with puppets even though they had very few practice sessions. The puppet show was presented to the first graders. Around 50 kids along with few teachers and the Principal watched the show with awe and danced to the tunes of the music. The kids were very interactive and enjoyed the show to the fullest. The Principal spoke to the kids before and after the show and explained the theme of the story – “Respect for each other and Humility” and asked them to practice the same in their lives.
