By the immense blessings of Sri SwamiJi and the abundant grace of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra, this year Virginia Namadwaar celebrated Sri Jagannatha Ratha Yatra Day with Ashtapthi, Madhura Geetham & Radha Madhav Vivah from June 20th – 22nd via zoom call.
June 20th, the deities were beautifully adorned with jewels and flower garlands. The online satsang started with Nama. Then Guru kirtans were rendered. Radha and Krishna Madhura Gitams were sung. Then Ashtapathi 1 to 12 were sung. After this yugala kirtans ,prarthana songs and Anjaneyar kirtans were rendered. The day’s satsang concluded with Kaliyayum bali kollum kirtan.
On June 21st, Second day of Rath Yatra started online with Maha mantra. Then Guru kirtans were rendered. This was followed by Jagannatha Ashtakam. Krishna, Radha kirtans were also sung. Rest of the Ashtapathis were rendered. After Kalyana ashtapathi, Sampradaya kirtans for Radha kalyanam were sung. Radha krishna namavali was chanted while showering flowers for the deities. Then Yugala kirtans ,Prarthana gitams were sung. Anjaneyar songs were sung. Finally, the satsang concluded with Kaliyayum bali kollum kirtan.
On June 22nd,the online satsang started with Mahamantra kirtan. Then starting with Guru kirtans, Krishna, Radha, Yugala kirtans were sung. Prarthana and Anjaneyar kirtans were also sung. The satsang concluded with Kaliyayum bali kollum kirtan and harathi. It was a blissful 3-day satsang and devotees felt blessed.
Prayers at the lotus feet of our Guru Maharaj that this pandemic ends soon and we should be able to resume normalcy.
