On Feb 19 evening, a Jhoola Utsav was celebrated for Sri Premika Varadan-Madhuri Sakhi from Houston Namadwaar in the presence of Sri Poornimaji and Sri Ramaswamyji at the residence of Smt. Nisha and Sri Sriram Ramanujam. The celebration was conducted with bhajans led by children of Krishna’s Cottage Youth Group. The children mellifluously sang the Thodayamangalam, Ashtapadis and several Madhuragethams and Namavalis. Everyone was immersed in the joy of singing Bhagavan’s Divine Names.
On Feb 20 morning, following a workshop at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Sri Poornimaji conducted a private satsang at the residence of Smt. Tripta Bhasin in Houston. Abhangs on the greatness of Guru, Nama and Satsang were rendered, following which Sri Poornimaji spoke briefly but lucidly about the necessity for Satsang and how all devotees pray for constant satsang, which is what connects them continuously with Bhagavan.
