Bhakta Charitram Satsangs by Sri Poornimaji in Namadwaar, Virginia

With the immense blessings of Sri Swamiji and Sri Madhuri Sakhi Sameta Sri Premika Varadha Takurji Virginia Namadwaar families were blessed to celebrate grand Utsav led by Sri Poornimaji

Virginia Namadwaar families welcomed Sri PoornimaJi on Feb 23rd with Mahamantra Nama Chanting.

Utsav Day 1 – Bhaktha Charitam Satsang – Sri Vallabhacharya
The Utsav commenced on Friday, Feb 24, 2023, at the residence of Smt. Srividya and Sri.Palani. The satsang commenced with the Mahamantra nama chanting. Sri Poornimaji’s discourse on Sri Vallabhacharya charitram(life history), was divine and inspiring. She explained how that great mahan, dedicated his entire life to performing Srimad Bhagavatam saptahams (reading all 18000 slokas in 7 days) all over India.

About 70 fortunate devotees, with rapt attention, immersed themselves in the session and felt very blessed. The satsang concluded with arti and dinner prasad.

Utsav Day 2 Morning – Radha Madhav Vivah
On day 2, Feb 25, 2023, morning, devotees celebrated Radha Madhav Vivah, at Namadwaar Virginia, Nava Vrindavan in the presence of Sri Poornimaji.
The Utsav started with Mahamantra kirtan. The Lordships, adorned with jewels and garlands, were seated on their swing. After Guru vandanam, dhyana slokas, the devotees rendered todaya mangalam. Radha, Krishna Madhurageetam kirtans were rendered. The Radha kalyanam padhathi, kalyana ashtapathi, choornikai, mangalashtakam and mangalyadaranam were recited. Flowers were offered to the divine couple while the devotees chanted Radha Krishna namavali. Sampradaya kirtans for Radha kalyanam was also rendered. Anjaneyar kirtans and prayers kirtans were rendered.

The satsang concluded with kaliyayum bali kollum kirtan and Maha arti. Lunch maha prasad was served. Around 80+ devotees attended this satsang and were blessed.

Utsav Day 2 Evening – Bhaktha Charita Satsang – Sri Thyagaraja Swami
As a part of day 2 events, Sri Poornimaji discoursed on Sri Thyagaraja charitram at the residence of Smt Lakshmi and Sri Sairam.
It was another inspiring charitam, where the mahatma lived life to show that chanting RAMA Nama and singing His praises can lead us to Bhagavan’s darshan.

She sang various kirtans composed by Sri Thyagaraja and explained his story. Around 60 devotees attended this satsang. The satsang concluded with arti and dinner prasad.

Utsav Day 3 – Youth recital and Mass Prayer
Day 3 Utsav was celebrated with the Gopakuteeram children’s recital and Mahamantra Mass Prayer by Sri PoornimaJi, at the Community Hall, Hindu Center of Virginia. Over 60 Gopakuteeram children from 8 batches, recited various Slokas, Bhajans, Ashtakams, Nama Ramayana, Bhagavad Gita, and Srimad Bhagavatam slokas. The children were eager and enthusiastic to recite in the presence of Sri Poornima ji. After the recital, Sri Poornima ji shared her happiness to have so many enthusiastic children.

She spoke words of encouragement to the Gopakuteeram families and explained how this Gopakuteeram can help with their mental and emotional well-being.
After the recital, Sri Poornimaji conducted the Mahamantra Mass Prayer.

In that, she extolled the benefits of nama chanting and told us what and how to pray to God.It was a blissful conclusion with the entire hall reverberating with Mahamantra. Around 200+ members attended this satsang.
