By the unbounded compassion of Sri Swamiji, HH Maharanyam Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji, Houston GOD Satsang celebrated Guru Poornima on Friday, July 27th 2018 at Namadwaar in a grand fashion.
The day started early at 6 am in Namadwaar, with a divine “Punar Bhoomi Pooja” blessed by Sri Swamiji, for the construction of a new temple building within the premises. Sri Ramaswamy ji laid the bricks handwritten with the Mahamantra, and conducted the pooja to invoke the blessings of the Lord on the auspicious day of Guru Poornima.
Akhanda Mahamantra continued during the day time. In the evening, devotees gathered again for the Guru Poornima celebrations. Special abhishekam of the Padukas of Sri Swamiji was performed by Sri Ramaswamy ji. In parallel, Sri Sriramji gave a pravachan on Guru Poornima and Guru Mahima, which was a summarized rendition of the lecture that Sri Swamiji had blessed in India earlier that day. Later, Sri Swamiji’s Padukas was taken in a procession and devotees sang various kirtans glorifying the Guru. On this special day, by Thakurji and Sri Swamiji’s blessings, the Houston Satsang devotees launched the new website for Houston Namadwaar, http://houston.godivinity.org. About 40 people attended the divine festivities and received the blessings of the Guru.
