By the immense grace of Sri SwamiJi and the divine Lordships, on the occasion of Udadi & Gudi Padwa, Virginia Namadwaar celebrated Radha Kalyanam, the marriage of divine couple on Saturday, April 6th at Sri SrikanthJi and Smt. NithyaJi’s residence at Herndon, VA.
The divine wedding was celebrated in the Bagawatha dharma (with traditional Sampradaya Bhajans), starting with Thodaya mangalam, Sri Jayadevar Ashtapathi and many Namavalis, then Radha and Krishna pravaram was recited followed by the Choornikai. the host also took the bride and grooms sides and offered seer to the divine couple. Kalyana Ashtapathi was rendered and the Lagnashtakam, which mentions the significance of the participating in the divine wedding was sung. This was followed by the Mangalya dharanam. the divine couple were then showered with flowers while the devotees were singing Namavalis. this was then followed by the Nalangu and poo pandhu aatam with the divine couple.
The wedding was concluded with aarthi and Anjaneya utsav. 75+ fortunate devotees took part in this grand wedding and got the blessings of our divine couple.
