Sri Swamiji’s Answers to Questions Asked by Devotees
Question:
Some people often get darshan of mahatmas and God in their dreams. What is the use of that?
Answer:
It is very good for all to have darshan of mahatmas or God in their dreams. That too, for those who are involved in spiritual practice to get the darshan of mahatmas or God in the dreams is indicative of their progress in spiritual practice.
Question:
Some discuss their adversity with a mahatma and get their blessings. It materializes for some and it does not for others. Why?
Answer:
Karma is the reason why we get misery in our lives. A sin would have been the reason behind that misery. If the potency of the mahatma’s penance is more than the karma’s, then it materializes. If the mahatma has less potency from penance than that of the sin, then it does not materialize.
Question:
How do we take the highs and lows of life?
Answer:
If there are highs, consider it as the grace of God. By doing that, arrogance will not find its way. If there are lows, consider it as lack of effort on one’s part and lack of bhakthi being the reasons. By taking it this way, we will reform.
