By the immense grace of our Sri Swamiji and blessings of the divine couple, we had two wonderful door to door, Nama Bhiksha sessions in two different cities, Mc Kinney and Little Elm Tx.
We carried a Nama Bhiksha pathra (begging bowl) in which house holders wrote Hare Rama …Mahamantra in their own regional languages and offered it. On July 7th, the Ratha yatra day, we went to Mc Kinney. Around 20 families opened their doors and invited Nama into their houses and also joined us in the Nagara kirtan to go to other houses to pleaded people to chant Nama atleast one.
Similarly on July 21st, on the auspicious Guru Poornima day, as a gratitude to our Sri Swamiji for generously blessings us all the Bhagavan Nama, we went door to door asking for Nama Bhiksha in a community in Little Elm. Around 16 families offered their written Nama in the Nama Bhiksha pathra. Around 180 – 200 people chanted Nama on the two days.
Around 95 written Namas, in different languages were collected. All of them were later offered in the Nama hundi in Namadwaar, Dallas. Prayers at the lotus feet of our Sri Swamiji for more and more such door to door Nama bhiksha sessions in new cities soon.
