Gopa Kuteeram Annual Day and Narasimha Jayanthi at Namadwaar, Houston Tx

The month of April at Houston Namadwaar concluded with the Gopa Kuteeram Annual Day. Over 40 kids came together to present the lessons they had learned over the year through presentations, kirtans, and chanting slokas. 190 devotees came to witness this wonderful display from the children.

The first satsang of May was a lovely Radha Kalyanam on the 7th held at a devotee’s residence. 60 devotees came together to celebrate the wedding of the divine couple. The next auspicious celebration was Narasimha Jayanthi on May 14th, where Houston Namadwaar held a special 12-hour akanda nama session. 12 bhaktas came to chant the names of the lord.

On May 15th, Sunday, to celebrate the lunar eclipse and Smarana Prathistha day, a special darshan session was conducted, where 700 devotees came to be blessed by Sri Aishwarya Srinivasa Perumal.

The celebrations continued with the chanting of the Mahamantra, the parayanam of Srimad Bhagavatam, Vishnu Sahasranama chanting, and Hanuman Chalisa. Finally, to conclude the month, special satsangs were held on May 21st and 22nd, where 150 devotees came to chant Nama, sing beautiful kirtans, and recite Hanuman Chalisa and Vishnu Sahasranama.
