On Saturday, March 3rd, 2012, Shri Poornimaji gave a wonderful discourse on “Krishna’s message: Blissful path towards infinite bliss” at Chinmaya Maruti – a Hanumanji temple at Andover, MA.
She expounded the simplicity of the path of Bhagavan Nama Sankirtan – Chanting the Divine Names of the Lord. Quoting lavishly from the Bhagavat Gita, she drove home the point that chanting the Divine Name of the Lord would lead one to the supreme state of ‘Sharanagati’ – surrender – the precept of which was verily the essence of Bhagavat Gita. She gave simple illustrations to convey how chanting can transform one’s life from goodness to godliness. Narrating the Ajamila Charitra, she explained the potency and simplicity of the Divine Name and urged everyone to embrace the Divine Name – either as the sole sadhana or as a sure-shot aid to their other Sadhanas.
More than 50 devotees who attended the discourse with rapt attention imbibed the message and chanted the Mahamantra in unison towards the end of the 90 minute satsang. Prasad was distributed to one and all. The satsang was arranged thanks to the efforts of Shri Sanjay and Smt. Geetha Padaki of Lexington, MA.
