Mass Prayer at Namadwaar Atlanta Blesses Students Going Back to School

By the immense grace of Sri Swamiji and Takurji, Atlanta Namadwaar joyfully hosted a vibrant two-hour Back to School Mass Prayer for children returning to school. This annual tradition is dedicated to praying for the academic success, safety, physical and mental well-being of all students.

The event began at 5 PM, with volunteers of all ages taking turns to lead the chanting, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere. Mass prayers at Namadwaar also serve as a platform for devotees to share real-life experiences that highlight the power of prayer. This year, two inspiring stories were shared:

Smt. Shobha Parusuji recounted how her heartfelt prayers helped save a deer in distress.

Kum. Radharani shared a miraculous story of how her brother’s stolen bag, containing his ipad and other essentials, was recovered through prayer.

The energy throughout the program was palpable, with devotees dancing and chanting with great enthusiasm. As part of a cherished tradition, all children and participants received pencils and pens that had been offered at Takurji’s feet, seeking divine blessings for the school year ahead.

The children danced joyfully, and the two-hour program that concluded at 7pm seemed to pass in the blink of an eye. The evening concluded with Harathi, and Dolothsavam. All guests were served dinner prasadham.
