Empowering the Next Generation: First North America Yuva Girls Retreat!
Around 20 girls from across the US gathered in Seattle for a historic event: the first-ever North America Yuva Girls Retreat! Held in a peaceful, scenic location near Seattle, the retreat aimed to ignite a passion for Sanatana Dharma in the next generation.
Immersion in Ancient Wisdom
The girls embarked on a journey to discover the beauty and relevance of Sanatana Dharma. They learned about the inspiring work of HH Maharanyam Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji, including his efforts to revitalize Hinduism through temple restorations, educational initiatives, and cow protection programs.
Building Intelligent Lives
The retreat also focused on personal growth. The girls explored the PREMA Model, a framework for intelligent living, and learned how to understand their emotions as a compass for their needs. Engaging sessions explored the importance of Sanatana Dharma, its unique perspectives compared to other religions, and the relationship between consciousness and intelligence.
Holistic Wellbeing and Gratitude
The retreat incorporated yoga, meditation with the Mahamantra, and energizing morning practices like Surya Namaskar. The girls concluded by reflecting on their experiences through a gratitude log, feeling empowered and ready to embrace their role in preserving and practicing Sanatana Dharma.
