A special Padmavati Kalyanam was conducted at Sri Aishwarya Srinivasa Perumal temple on Sat May 11 in collaboration with the Houston Telugu Cultural Association. About 200 devotees participated in the event, with many of them first-time visitors to the temple. The event was conducted in Dakshina Sampradaya Bhajan format with the rendition of kirtans and namavalis. Youth from Global Organization for Divinity’s Krishna’s Cottage Youth Bhajan Group rendered the kirtans and the auspicious Kalyanam was performed.
Sri Ravi from Telugu Cultural Association also welcomed and invited the Telugu community to come together and support the construction of a grand majestic temple for Sri Aishwarya Srinivasa Perumal, and also pledged his own financial support for the project.
