Seattle Satsang

A group of devotees in Seattle gather regularly for satsang, each one taking turns to be the host every time. This week, it was the turn of Sri Bala Subramanian and family to play the host. The evening began with the chanting of the Mahamantra followed by Vishnu Sahasranama parayanam. Following this, Master Srinath son of Sri Nandakumar/ Smt Lalitha, narrated a story about Indra in his own sweet way much to the enjoyment of all. Sri Narayanaswamy then spoke for a few minutes about the greatness of Srimad Bhagavatam, Vishnu Sahasranamam and Lalitha Sahasranamam. With Maha Shivarathri round the corner, the significance of Shivarathri was also discussed. Smt Lalitha Nandakumar then narrated a story from Namadwaar stressing on the significance of Namakirtan. The Satsang concluded with another round of Mahamantra chanting in unison and distribution of prasad. It was a very fulfilling evening for all those who had gathered.
