New Years Day – January 1, 2025
Sri Aishwarya Srinivasa Perumal temple was open for extended hours on January 1 to usher devotees in to the New Year. A new 2025 Temple calendar was distributed to all devotees. In the evening, a Satsang was held where Sri Gadhadharanji and Sri Sriramji conveyed Sri Guruji’s New Year message to devotees. About 300 devotees visited the temple on this day.
Vaikunta Ekadasi – January 9, 2025
By the grace of Sri Aishwarya Srinivasa Perumal, on the auspicious occasion of Vaikunta Ekadasi, a beautiful Vaikunta Dwaram was set up at the temple. Our Madhuri Sakhi along with Premika Vardan opened the Vaikunta Dwaram in the morning for devotees to have darshan of Perumal on this auspicious day. Devotees participated in the chanting of Tiruppavai followed by namasankirtanam. Watch snippets from the event here.
In the evening, a special Garuda sevai was held indoors (due to inclement weather). The festivities for the day concluded with Akhanda mahamantra chanting, special midnight harathi and Dolotsavam.

Thiruppavai Chanting – January 12, 2025
By the grace of Sri Aishwarya Srinivasa Perumal, Thiruppaavai group chanting was performed at the temple by Houston Arulicheyal group led by Smt. Nalini Sadagopan. Vishnu Sahasranamam and Tirupalliyezhuchi were also recited along with Thiruppavai, followed by lunch prasadam. About 35 people attended the event.

Pongal Celebrations – January 19, 2025
By the grace of Sri Aishwarya Srinivasa Perumal, Pongal / Sankranti festival was celebrated at the temple. Ven Pongal and Sakkarai Pongal were prepared at the temple with excitement and joyful shouting of Pongal-o-Pongal by devotees. Aaditya Hridayam was also recited on this auspicious occasion. About 20 devotees attended the event.

Samarpana Series #9 – Oothukadu Venkatakavi – January 25, 2025
By the grace of Sri Aishwarya Srinivasa Perumal, the 9th Samarpana event was performed at the temple. Music students offered to Perumal, lovely compositions of the great devotee-composer Oothukadu Venkata Kavi. The event was attended by about 100 people and 25 performers from different music schools across the greater Houston area.
