The month of March at the Houston Namadwaar began with the auspicious occasion of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s Jayanthi. Celebrated over March 4th and 5th, this small Utsava was attended by 45 devotees. The celebrations included Akhanda nama in different ragas, kirtan singing, and sparklers.
Beginning the next day, a weekly Bhagavata Saptaha Parayanam began, where each Sunday, a group of 10 devotees would come together to chant the Srimad Bhagavatam for seven consecutive Sundays.
March 18th was the auspicious Shravana Nakshatra day. A special 108 Archana Seva Maha Yagna was conducted, where 108 continuous archanas were performed with individual silver lotuses offered to Sri Aishwarya Srinivasa Perumal. A total of 34 people came to celebrate this auspicious occasion.
