With the immense grace of Sri Swamiji, Virginia Namadwar celebrated the Jayanthis of two great saints, Adishanakara Bagawath Padhal, and Sri Ramanujachariyar on Sunday, May 8th 2017. Satsang started with Mahamantra Nama Sankirtan, then Guru kirtans and Madhura Geetham were rendered. Devotees recited Guru padhuka stotram, Guru Ashtakam and Thotakashtakam.
It is a special occasion this year as it is the Sahasrabthi that is the 1000th year anniversary of Sri Ramanujacharyar. Devotees recited Prabandam verses, starting with Tirupallandu, and followed by devotees reciting Ramanuja Nootrandhadhi and Pushpa Archana Namavali. It was blissful satsang concluding with the Satrumurai and Kaliyaum bali kollum. Prashad was distributed.
