By the grace of His Holiness Maharanyam Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji, New Jersey satsang celebrated Krishna Janmashtami from Friday August 23 to Sunday August 25th 2019.
On Friday, August 23rd, Srimad Bhagavata Parayanam took place commemorating the auspicious birth of Lord Krishna and chapters from Cantos 10.1 to 10.3 were read. Lord Krishna was then transported from Mathura to Gokulam amidst singing of Swamijis Kirtans, followed by Nandotsavam to celebrate Krishna’s birth.
On Saturday August 24th 2019, Bagawatha Parayanam of 10.4 to 10.28 till Govaradhana Pattabhishekam was recited and relished by everyone.
On Sunday August 25th 2019, satsang was held at Ridgewood NJ. Sri Prakash Ji discoursed on Krishna’s Gokulam leelas interspersed with devotees singing the sweet Madhura Gitams of Sri Swamiji.
