Sri.Poornimaji was invited by Sri Hanuman Mandir, Alpharetta, GA to deliver a nine-day lecture series (Navaham) on Srimad Valmiki Ramayana as a part of the temple’s Vasantha Navarathri and Sri Rama Navami celebrations from Friday, March 20th to Saturday, March 28th 2015.
She enthralled the devotees with her beautiful expositions and close to 150 people listen with awe and reverence everyday.
Srimad Ramayana Parayanam was conducted conducted in the mornings on all the days. Seeing the enthusiasm of the devotees hearing Sri Rama katha, temple graciously gave extra time and also an extra session on Saturday afternoon to exclusively listen to Sundara Kandam discourse by Sri.Poornimaji. By the divine arrangement of Sri Hanumanji, the Sundara Kanda pravachanam happened exactly after the 9 day Sundara Kanda homam poorthi at the temple premises. On the final day of the discourse series, over 1200 devotees heard Sri Poornimaji’s pravachan specifically focused on final stages of Yudha kandam and Sri Rama Pattabhishekam. It was indeed a spectacular sight to see Sri Ramachandra and Sri Seetha Matha beautifully decorated with loads of garlands, jewels and silk garements and devotees simultaneously hearing Sri Rama katha from Sri Poornimaji. The devotees were indeed drinking the divine nectar through eyes and ears simultaneously!!
Like an icing in the cake, Sri Poornimaji concluded her wonderful nine-day Navaham discourse series with a Phala Stuthi by elucidating the greatness of hearing Sri Rama katha and beautifully explained the greatness of chanting Sri Rama’s divine names !!
