On the auspicious Aippasi Swati, His Holiness Maharanyam Sri Sri Muralidhara SwamiJi’s 61st Thiru Nakshatra Jayanti Mahotsav, Namadwaar Virginia was blessed to do 61 hrs of Akhanda Mahamantra Kirtan and Nakashtra Bhagavata Parayanam.
On the Jayanti day, Oct 25th, Devotees offered the poorti of 61 hrs of Akhanda Mahamantra Kirtan and Swati Nakashtra Bhagavata Parayanam to the Lotus feet of Sri SwamiJi. This was followed by Guru Vandanam and Pushpa varsham to Sri SwamiJi.
Prayers to Sri SwamiJi to shower us with continuous Nama, Satsang, Yugala Seva, and Bhagavata Ruchi.
Namadwaar, Atlanta:
Sri Swamiji Jayanthi and Deepawali was celebrated at Atlanta Namadwaar in all grandeur. Sri Swamiji’s picture was seated on a beautifully decorated platform. Madhurageetham offering was made along with Pushpa Archana for Sri Swamiji. Sri Kishore ji Madhurasmaranam was very engaging and was followed by video excerpts from Sri Bhgayaji’s lecture leaving everyone spellbound. Devotees offered flowers to Sri Swamiji followed by Harathi.
Satsang kids and adults enjoyed sharing and bursting fire crackers. The celebration concluded with a grand dinner lovingly organized by the Bhagavatas to celebrate this great day.
Namadwaar, Seattle:
Seattle GOD Satsang, organized a week.long AkandaNama from 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM everyday. Various members across USA participated in this event.
Sri G Jayanthi special Satsang is planned with Harikatha, Baghavatha Parayanam and Madhurageetham.
Namadwaar, Houston:
Sri Swamiji’s jayanthi was celebrated in Namadwaar Houston on Oct 25, the day of Swathi nakshatra, with Sri Guru Paduka abhishekam and Guru kirtans.
On Oct 30 morning, Sri Swamiji’s jayanthi celebrations were continued with a procession of Sri Swamiji in Marathi varkari style with abhangs on the Guru. This was followed by rendition of the thodayamangalam songs on Sri Swamiji by children of Krishna’s Cottage Bhajan group. Then students from all different Gopa Kuteeram centers around Houston took turns to share their gratitude to Sri Swamiji in various ways – through chanting the Mahamantra, renditions of Madhurageethams, sharing snippets about his life, sharing words of gratitude to him, making birthday cards for him, and depicting his message about the importance of inculcating bhakti at a young age, through a skit. Pushpa varsham was performed to Sri Swamiji while the Mahamantra Anthem was being rendered by children.
A presentation on the wide range of activities by Sri Swamiji around the world was presented to the assembled devotees and parents. The celebration them concluded with harathi to Sri Aishwarya Srinivasa Perumal and Sri Premika Varadan-Madhuri Sakhi.

Sri Swamiji’s jayanthi was celebrated on Tuesday Oct 25, the day of Swathi Nakshatra, online. We chanted Nama from 4:00 to 7:00 pm and then from 7:00 on we sang Guru Kirtan’s followed by Paduka Archana and conclude with Harathi and Kaliyayum Bali Kollum. Around 15 families took part in the auspicious offering.
