The Eternal Vedas

In conversations with individuals of different faiths, a common question often arises: What is the holy book of your faith or religion? Who authored it, and how did it come to be? Sri Ramanujam Ji addressed these foundational questions about Sanatana Dharma, or Hinduism as it is referred to in the Western world, during the weekly Yuva sessions. His insights have since been compiled into an article.

KISHORA BHAGAVATAM SERIES – Shravanam – The Story of Raskhan

While it’s possible to close off other senses in various ways, you cannot naturally close your ears. Sri Swamiji says this is because Bhagavan has designed them this way, so that even if we hear just a little bit of katha or Nama, we still receive the phala (blessing or result), and Bhagavan can enter into us through our ears. Let us relish the story of Raskhan, a great bhagavata who belonged to Sri Vallabha Sampradhaya that illustrated this point.
