Indians around the world celebrated the 75th Republic Day in the month of January. Atlanta Namadwaar had its own unique 75th celebration. By Sri Swamiji’s immense grace and compassion, in July of 2017, Atlanta was blessed by the arrival of our divine couple Sri Madhurisakhi Sametha Sri Premikavaradha Takurji. The very same month, the first Radha Madhava Vivah Mahotsavam was performed at a devotee’s home. The divine couple since then have blessed many families with an opportunity to celebrate the divine Kalyana Uthsavam at their homes and at Namadwaar.
On Jan 27th, devotees celebrated the 75th Radhakalyanam for our divine couple at Namadwaar. As always, the Utsavam was celebrated with enthusiasm and joy. By Takurji’s and Swamiji’s grace, kids are an integral part of all celebrations. They participate in all activities during celebrations with great fervor and devotion. Be it singing, playing musical instruments, assisting the Aradhakas, distributing Akshatha, Haldi Kumkum, assisting in decorations, they are always eager to help. To add extra sparkle to the traditional ceremony, little Bhagavathas, 8-year-old Krishnakanth and 9-year-old Keshav chanted the Pravaram during the Uthsavam. Shreyaanvi made her offering in the form of solo Bharatanatyam performance to the kirtan “Ra Ra Swamy Ra Ra Yaduvamsa sudhambudhi chandra…….”. Through her dance and expressions Shreyaanvi beautifully depicted the emotions of Gopikas who are calling Krishna and their eagerness to please him. The celebration culminated with Harathi, Dolotsavam and grand dinner prasadham.
