Muralidharan Jayanthi:
By the immense grace of His Holiness Maharanyam Sri Sri Muralidhara SwamiJi and the abundant grace of Sri Madhuri Sakhi Samedha Sri Premika Varada TakurJi, Namadwaar Virginia celebrated Muralidharan Jayanthi and Sankara Jayanthi on May 12th, 2024. The satsang was held at the residence of Smt. Malathiji and Sri. Muraliji. The satsang started with Maha Mantra Keerthan. The devotees then recited Guru Ashtakam. This was followed by Krishna Jananam Parayanam, the first 3 chapters from Dasama Skandham of Srimad Bhagavatham were recited. This was followed by Guru Kirtans, then Madhura Geethams for Krishna Jananam, Krishna, Radha, and Yugala Kirtans were sung. Before concluding, Hanuman and prayer Kittans were rendered. The satsang concluded with Kaliyayum Kittan. Maha Prasad was served. All the devotees felt blessed to be a part of this wonderful satsang.”
Narasimha Jayanthi
By the immense grace of His Holiness Maharanyam Sri Sri Muralidhara SwamiJi and the abundant grace of Sri Madhuri Sakhi Samedha Sri Premika Varada TakurJi, Namadwaar Virginia celebrated Narasimha Jayanthi at Namadwaar on Tuesday, 21st May 2024. The deities were beautifully adorned with jewels and garlands. The satsang started with Maha Mantra kirtan. Then the Sadguru Panchakam was recited. The devotees took turns to recite Srimad Bhagavatham Dhyana Slokas and Narasimha Avathara, Chapter 8 from Canto 7 from Srimad Bhagavatham. This was followed by Ashtothra Archanais to Guru, Narasimha, and Lakshmi. Following the Archanai, Guru Kirtans, many Madhura Geethams on Nama Mahima, Lord Narasimha, Krishna Radha, and Yugala Kirtans were rendered. After that, prayer kirtans and Anjaneyar kirtans were rendered. The satsang concluded with Kaliyayum Bali Kollum kirtan and Maha Arti. Nama chanting satsangs
Virginia Namadwaar has been conducting various Nama chanting satsangs in Richmond.
Every Saturday, Virginia Namadwaar hosts 30 minutes of Mahamantra chanting at the Hindu Center of Virginia.
Nama satsangs are also held at the private residences of devotees by Virginia Namadwaar on Sunday, May 5th at 4.30pm Host: Smt. Geethanjaliji and Umakanthji After nama, there was a pravachan on Nama Mahima by Sri.MuraliJi. Satsang concluded with Kaliyayum bali kollum kirtan and Maha Arti.
Friday, May 17th at 6.30pm Host: Smt. Bhavani Kannanji and Sri Kannanji. This was a special satsang to celebrate their daughter’s baby shower in Bhagavata Dharma with Srimadhurageethams, Mahamantra, and Srimad Bagawatham. After nama, there was a pravachan on Krishna Jananam by Sri.MuraliJi. Satsang concluded with Kaliyayum bali kollum kirtan and Maha Arti.
