Fence to be Laid for Lush Growth of the Crop ‘Bhakti’
Rare it is for a person to even earn serene devotion for Lord Hari (sattvic Hari Bhakti). Rarer still it is to sustain it. For the lush growth of such Bhakti one should abstain from self-praise. In Ramayana, we see that Lord Hanuman is humble in spite of accomplishing great feats. Only if one is, like Hanuman, without self-praise will the crop of Bhakti grow.
